Viewing Comments

You can view any comment that was submitted by a client through their survey from two places in ReviewTree.
  1. From the Dashboard, navigate to bottom of page, and view the most recent comments submitted
  2. From the Comments tab along the top of the page

Replying to Comments

You can email a response to any comment that was submitted by a client through their survey. To respond, any user may complete the following steps:
  1. Login to ReviewTree 
  2. Select "Comments" tab along the top
  3. Select "Respond" button 
  4. Select any of the templates buttons seen to enter the text into the text box.
  5. You may add, change, or delete any text seen in the text box. 
  6. When ready to send, select the "Email" button.
  7. This will open your default email provider with the text from the text box inside the body of a new email. 
You may need to adjust your computer's default email provider. You can conduct an online search to determine the steps to do so. If you use a Gmail housed email account, the steps to make these changes are below.

Make Gmail the default email program when you click "Email" button

  1. Open Chrome Browser and click More and thenSettings.
  2. Go to the Privacy and security section.
  3. Next to Site Settings, click the Right arrow 
  4. Scroll down to Additional permissions and click Expand .
  5. Next to Handlers, click the Right arrow .
  6. At the top, make sure Allow sites to ask to become default handlers for protocols (recommended)
     is turned on.

    Note: Scroll down to the Blocked section and make sure that mail.google.com doesn't appear in this list.

  7. In your Chrome Browser's address bar, enter mail.google.com.
  8. Click Service handler Service handler.
  9. Click Allowand thenDone.

Manage Response Templates

An Admin level user may edit the Template used when responding to comments. There are two areas from which an admin user may access the Manage Response Templates page. Complete the following steps to access the page and edit the templates:
  1. Log into ReviewTree
  2. From any Comment click "Respond" button, then "Edit" button to access the Manage Response Templates page, OR
  3. Select Account tab along the top, select "Accounts Info" from drop down, then select "Response Templates" button to access the Manage Response Templates page.
  4. Once on the Manage Response Templates page, select any of the response sentiments to edit any of the four (4) available templates.
  5. Select a response sentiment (Positive, Neutral, or Negative) and edit the Email Subject or Email Body. Follow on screen instructions to insert possible merge fields. Select "Save" button to any area that was updated before navigating away from this page.
